Email on your own domain.
Free to start.
Get fast, secure, modern email at [email protected] — built on open standards, with a webmail you’ll actually enjoy. No ads. No lock-in.
- Free during beta
- Bring any domain
- Works with any mail app
Your address. Your domain. Your inbox.
Everything you’d expect from a modern email provider — without handing your identity over to someone else’s brand.
Your own domain
Use [email protected] instead of an address that belongs to a big provider. Add mailboxes and aliases for yourself, your family or your project — and keep your address for life, wherever you host it.
Modern protocols
JMAP for fast, efficient, battery-friendly sync — plus standard IMAP and SMTP, so Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Outlook and your phone’s mail app all just work.
Secure by default
Encrypted connections, DKIM signing, SPF, DMARC, MTA-STS and DANE support, two-factor sign-in and app passwords — running on a memory-safe, Rust-based mail server.
Webmail that feels fast
Our webmail brings threaded conversations, instant full-text search, keyboard shortcuts, calendar and contacts to a clean interface that works beautifully on desktop and mobile — in light and dark.
Spam and phishing defense
A statistical spam classifier, blocklist checks, greylisting and sender-authentication checks keep junk out — and Sieve filters let you sort the rest your way.
Private, with no lock-in
No ads, no selling your data, no profiling from your messages. Because it all runs on open standards, you can take your mail and your domain elsewhere whenever you like.
From sign-up to sending in minutes
If you can add a few DNS records, you can run email on your own domain.

Open standards. Serious foundations.
ViMail isn’t a black box. It’s assembled from proven, open-source building blocks and the standards the whole email world agrees on.
A fast, memory-safe mail core
A modern all-in-one mail and collaboration server written in Rust: JMAP, IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV and CardDAV, built-in spam filtering and automatic TLS certificates.
JMAP
The JSON Mail Access Protocol (RFC 8620 / 8621) — the modern successor to IMAP. Fewer round trips, instant updates and far better behavior on mobile networks.
A modern JMAP webmail
An open-source JMAP webmail with mail, calendar and contacts, themes, two-factor sign-in and an installable app experience.
Standards we speak
Because everything is standards-based, your mail is never trapped in a proprietary format. Use any compatible client, and move on whenever you want.

On every plan, you can authorize the addresses you write to often. Add an address in your dashboard, we send its owner a one-time code, you enter the code — and messages to that address are no longer counted in your daily limit.
Every plan includes JMAP, IMAP and SMTP access, webmail, spam and phishing protection and two-factor sign-in. Plans and prices shown here are indicative, in US dollars, and may change before launch. Beta testers will be told in advance.
